Are all hats handmade by you?

Yes, all of the artwork is custom, handmade artwork completed by me personally. The hats themselves are not handmade but are specially selected by me to be able to hold up to the artistic techniques used and look beautiful long term.

Can I request a size for my hat?

The only hats available with sizes are cowboy hats. Fedoras, Ranch hats and Caps are one size fits all but are adjustable

How long until I receive my order?

Because each hat is made to order, they take some time. I create each hat by hand so every hat is unique and original. Completed hats I have in stock that are decorated, and not customized, will take 3-5 days to ship.

If you place an order for a completely customized hat, please allow 15-20 Business Days for your order to be created and shipped. Some custom orders may take longer depending on volume. You will be notified when your order ships. Once your order ships I will not be responsible for the carriers transit times. Shipping times are not included in turn around times. 

*Should you have a large order and a very specific date (like an entire wedding party for example) I will need a much longer timeline so please plan ahead and contact me for those as soon as possible.

I am not responsible for any packages that are lost in transit, please contact the specific shipping carrier to file a claim.

Where are the hats created/shipped from?

All hats are created in my studio in Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA and ship from that location.

How can I contact you?

Current clients will be given all my contact information (email, text, etc). If you are not a current client, please fill out the contact page with your specific question.

How do consultations work?

Once the 50% deposit is paid, I will set up a Zoom, Facetime or telephone call of 30-45 minutes for the consultation. We will discuss the person the hat is being created for and what types of images might be appropriate. I will gather/confirm information such as size, style of hat and timeline. As the hat is being created we will communicate via emails or texts to confirm the vision of the client is being realized. During the consultation I will reiterate items I do not put on a hat such as portraits of people or exact photos of pets. We will discuss if any particular personalization may take a longer time frame for completion depending on the order and what that additional timeline might be.

How much is the deposit and are deposits refundable?

Deposits for custom orders are 50% of the price of the finished piece and must be paid prior to any work beginning. No, deposits are not refundable. They are to cover the cost of supplies and once the project is started, no refunds can be made on the initial deposit. Final payment plus shipping is due prior to the hat being shipped.

Can you use a hat I already own?

No, for two reasons. First, there are only certain hats that are suitable for these specific techniques and by limiting it to the hats I supply, I can ensure you receive the best quality. The second reason is that I do not want to be responsible should your own personal hat be ruined. That is just not worth it to me and I'm sure you would agree.

Can I return my hat for a refund?

While I strive to ensure all my clients are happy with their hats, I do not take any returns nor do I offer refunds.

How much do the various hats cost?

Since most hats are custom made, prices will vary, but the starting price for the various styles are as follows:

Rancher Fedora (wider brim) $189

Regular Fedora $175

Caps $50

Palm Leaf Cowboy Hat $250

Customization is extra and priced according to complexity. These prices are starting points only and do not include shipping.
